The wider community gets involved from parents donating grocery items for the raffles to companies donating vouchers worth $250 plus. There is international food as well as sausage sizzle and hamburgers. Anyone wanting to donate 'tender' and 'auction' items or toys, books and children's clothing can deliver them to 2 A Hythe Terrace, Mairangi Bay. Money raised will go towards upgrading the playground and other equipment at the kindergarten.
